Terms of use.

1. Service description

kepek.net (hereinafter "kepek" or "we") is an AI-assisted consumer tool that provides observational visual analysis from scalp photographs. The service includes the browser-based web application, the iOS mobile application and the accompanying educational content.

kepek does not provide medical diagnosis, does not prescribe treatment and does not list prescription products. Outputs are general care suggestions and observations. For details please read our medical disclaimer.

2. Acceptance and capacity

By accepting these terms you represent that you are aged 18 or over, have the legal capacity to enter into a contract, and will use kepek for lawful purposes. Users under 18 may only use the service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account obligations

• You are expected to provide accurate, up-to-date information when creating an account.
• Keeping your password confidential is entirely your responsibility. Do not share it with anyone.
• You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, report it immediately to [email protected].
• One account per person: creating multiple accounts to bypass daily analysis limits is not permitted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that when using kepek you will not:

• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to query the service, or access the API without authorisation.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Upload an image of another person without their consent.
• Upload sexual, obscene or child imagery (such activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities).
• Produce fabricated content with the aim of misleading others or undermining the credibility of the service.
• Generate excessive load that compromises our ability to deliver the service (DoS, malicious traffic).

5. Payment terms (mobile app)

Paid features in the kepek mobile application are one-time in-app purchases with no auto-renewal. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store; price, tax and currency are set by Apple per local storefront.

Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund you need to apply through Apple Support; kepek cannot issue refunds directly.

6. Intellectual property

The kepek logo, brand name, content, blog posts, product descriptions, UI design, AI models and all other copyrightable materials belong to Truethinks Ltd. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used to create derivative works for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Photos you upload remain yours. kepek processes them only to deliver the analysis and does not persist them, as described in the privacy policy.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The kepek service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No express or implied warranty is given as to the uninterrupted operation, error-free performance or fitness for a particular purpose of the service.

AI outputs are probabilistic and may contain errors. You should not base health decisions on a kepek report alone.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, kepek and Truethinks Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages (including loss of data, loss of profit or loss of reputation).

For direct damages, total liability in any case is limited to the total fees paid by the user to kepek in the preceding 12 months. For free users that figure is zero.

9. Termination

We may suspend or close your account without prior notice if you breach these terms, if fraud is suspected, or if the service is misused. On termination, your stored data will be erased in accordance with the retention periods in the privacy policy.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Truethinks Ltd is incorporated in London. The courts of London have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this agreement; mandatory rights that consumers enjoy under their local law are preserved.

11. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we notify registered users by email and record the change date at the foot of the page. If you do not wish to accept the new terms you can close your account.
